About me
Howdy there, Bryan Smith here. (my real name)
I’m an artist and freelance illustrator who lives and works in Boston, Massachusetts. I often work digitally, but also retain an affinity for acrylic paints and experimentation with traditional mediums until finding a tonal marriage of form and function. Ultimately I work in any medium that serves the piece and strengthens my concepts.
Artist Statement:
I draw inspiration for my work from Pop/Pulp entertainment and ephemera just as heavily as I do the Old Masters. When I’m not creating, I’m usually absorbing what I can from Boston’s many historic museums, cinemas, music venues, and comic/book shops. That, or I’m trying to get as far away from the city as I can. I love bringing ideas to life, so if you’ve got one I implore you to reach out to collaborate!
